Manchester United Weekly Salaries (Update FM 2016 November database)

Football Manager 2016 has been released. I have listed the weekly salaries of all Manchester United players below making more than 3K per week.

This post is something of an experiment.  My February post of Southampton FC weekly salaries is my most frequently viewed post in more than a year and it still gets dozens of hits each week through Google searches.  I was curious as to whether a similar post about a more famous club would draw more page views or whether it was just some weird flukey thing.
A post with some Manchester United salaries as of the FM 2015 February database can be found here.
As I stated in my priors FM based salary lists, I have no idea how accurate these figures are and they do not take into account performance bonuses.  On the other hand, during the summer of 2014 when I was considering Financial Fair Play issues FM’s base salaries fairly closely corresponded to the information released by Southampton FC for the players’ salaries as a whole.  I have not undertaken the research necessary to determine if the same is true for Manchester United since I do not follow Manchester United except incidentally.
The salaries are in thousands of pounds per week.

Southampton Weekly Salaries (Update FM 2016 November database)

The most recent update of this post can be found here.

Football Manager 2016 has been released. I have listed the weekly salaries of Southampton players below.  There was only one change from the beta—Fonte’s salary is now listed at 47K per week.

As I stated in my priors FM based salary lists, I have no idea how accurate these figures are and they do not take into account performance bonuses.  On the other hand, during the summer of 2014 when I was considering Financial Fair Play issues FM’s base salaries fairly closely corresponded to the information released by the club for the players’ salaries as a whole.
I have left the two sets of numbers from last season in so it is easy to see the changes.  The salaries are in thousands of pounds per week.

Targett                              10                           2
Everyone else is listed as making £5K or less a week so this is where I stopped.
According to this FM 2016 Southampton’s total weekly pay has increased £53K since February 1, 2015.  However, that includes the £5K per week drop in Long’s pay which almost certainly did not happen.  Presumably, this means that the actual increase was £58K per week.

Predictions 2015-2016 (Round 14)

This past round I picked three games out of ten correctly with no correct scores for 30 points.  Lawrenson picked four out of ten correctly with no correct scores for 40 points.  His celebrity guest picked three correctly with no correct scores for 30 points.  Merson picked four out of ten correctly with no correct scores for a total of 40 points.

My current total for the season is 61 out of 140 with for 880 points.  Lawrenson has picked 65 out of 140 for 1100 points.  (The BBC website gives Lawrenson a different, and lower, score for the season.  I think I am right.   See here.)  Merson has picked 65 out of 129 for a total of 980 points.
When Lawrenson and Merson make their new picks I might link them here and here.  I keep forgetting to do this.

PREDICTIONS
My system’s picking rules can be found here.  Based upon those rules here are my predictions for the next round of games:

Southampton Weekly Salaries (Update FM 2016 beta database)

A slightly updated version of this post can be found here.

The beta version of Football Manager 2016 has been released.  As always, I have taken the opportunity to shamelessly crib from their database for my blog.

Once again, I have listed the weekly salaries of Southampton players below.  I do not know whether these numbers will change in the official release.  If they do, I will publish an update.

As I stated in my priors FM based salary lists, I have no idea how accurate these figures are and they do not take into account performance bonuses.  On the other hand, during the summer of 2014 when I was considering Financial Fair Play issues FM’s base salaries when totaled fairly closely corresponded to the information released by the club for the total players’ salaries.
I have left the last two sets of numbers in so it is easy to see the changes.  The salaries are in thousands of pounds per week.
PLAYER                                 CURRENT             FEB2015               NOVEMBER 2014
Ramirez                                55                           55                           55

Martina                            20                           not listed
Gazzaniga                        18                           14                           14
K. Davis                            16                           16                           16

Targett                             10                           2
Everyone else is listed as making £4K or less a week so I will stop here.
According to this FM 2016 ,Southampton’s total weekly pay has increased £40K since February 1, 2015.  However, that includes the £5K per week drop in Long’s pay which almost certainly did not happen.  Presumably, the wizards at FM decided that they overstated his salary last year which would mean an actual increase of £45K per week.
